Contact and purpose

Airtec Compressors Limited (registered in Ireland, company number 414746), with registered office at Windy Ridge, Temple Michael, White’s Cross, Cork, receives your enquiry so its team can respond about equipment, servicing, testing or hire. Contact ken@compressors.ie or +353.21.4-200-200 about your enquiry or personal information.

Why we use enquiry details

For general enquiries and enquiries made on behalf of a business, we rely on our legitimate interests in answering requested questions, preparing relevant quotations and managing the related correspondence. We also rely on legitimate interests to protect the enquiry service against spam and misuse. We limit this processing to information needed for those purposes and restrict access to authorised people. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests by contacting Airtec.

Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you personally, such as preparing a quotation for your own purchase or hire, we use the necessary details to take those steps at your request. Subsequent order or service records are handled under the applicable business-record policy.

Information collected

The form collects your name, email, requirements and the page you contacted us from. Company, telephone and application details are optional. A submission reference and time are saved. The system derives a daily hash from the connection IP address to limit repeated submissions; the enquiry record does not store the raw address in that rate-limit field. Hosting services may process connection information separately.

How the enquiry is handled

Your enquiry is stored in the website database and made available in Airtec’s restricted enquiry inbox. Email alerts contain your submitted details and go to ken@compressors.ie. Website hosting and email services process the information needed to provide these functions. Immediate enquiry alerts are sent through our transactional email-delivery provider to ken@compressors.ie. Pending or uncertain delivery is held for authorised staff review; acceptance by an email provider does not by itself confirm inbox delivery. We use enquiry details to respond to and follow up on that enquiry. We do not add website enquirers to marketing mailing lists. This form does not make automated decisions about you.

Service providers and international processing

We use contracted website-hosting, cloud infrastructure, security, transactional email-delivery and business-mailbox providers to store enquiries, operate the website and deliver messages. Access is limited to the information needed to perform those functions. We may also disclose information where required by law or where necessary to establish or defend legal claims.

Some providers and subprocessors process information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. The transactional email service stores message content and delivery logs in the United States even when messages are sent through an Irish region. Applicable provider data-processing terms include arrangements for international transfers, such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Contact Airtec for the relevant recipient details and information about, or a copy of, applicable safeguards.

Keeping your information

Airtec’s approved policy is to retain ordinary enquiries for 12 months after closure or the last meaningful contact. Records needed for orders or service contracts are managed under a separate retention policy. The front desk reviews enquiry email copies monthly against this policy. Ken manages the restricted website enquiry records and their review controls. Authorised reviewers record closure and last meaningful contact dates, archive reviewed eligible enquiries with a restore option, and separately confirm permanent website deletion. Deletion is not automatic. Email copies and other business records must be reviewed separately; website removal does not remove those copies. Contact Airtec to request access, correction or deletion.

Your choices and rights

You can contact Airtec about access to your information, correction, erasure, restriction, objection or portability, where applicable. You can also complain to Ireland’s Data Protection Commission. Providing these details is voluntary, but name, email and requirements are needed to submit this form and enable us to reply. Company and telephone are optional. You can also contact Airtec by telephone.

Cookies, connection data and security

The public pages and enquiry form do not add advertising or analytics cookies. Hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, browser details, request times and security events to deliver and protect the website under their service arrangements. We rely on legitimate interests in operating a secure and reliable enquiry service for this purpose. See our cookies and browser-storage notice.

Please do not submit passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information.
